The organisers of the IV International Roundtable on Technologies for Sustainability are delighted to announce that Dr. Alan Lowdon OBE will join the programme as a featured speaker.

Organised by MBY Consultants and The FuturED Institute, with the support of the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA – The Green Chamber), the Roundtable will take place on 21 October 2026 at the historic Maryculter House Hotel, near Aberdeen, Scotland.

An internationally recognised leader in offshore renewable energy and innovation, Dr. Lowdon has held senior positions with organisations including Rolls-Royce, Shell, British Gas and Jacobs. He also played a key role in the development of the UK’s offshore wind sector and was awarded an OBE in 2022 for services to UK–US offshore wind collaboration. Today, he continues to support clean energy innovation through leadership, advisory and academic roles in the UK and internationally.

His participation further strengthens a distinguished programme that will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers and innovators to discuss the technologies shaping a more sustainable future.
