ANDREW BOWIE MP TO LEAD DISCUSSIONS ON THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES

We are delighted to announce that Andrew Bowie MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland and Shadow Minister of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, will deliver the keynote address at the International Roundtable on Technologies for Sustainability, taking place on 21 October 2026 at Maryculter House, Aberdeen.

Organised by MBY Consultants Ltd in partnership with The FuturED Institute and supported by the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA), the Roundtable will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, academics and policymakers to explore the technologies, partnerships and investment opportunities driving the transition towards a more sustainable economy.

This year’s edition marks an important milestone as the event will be held outside London for the first time. Moving to Aberdeen reflects Scotland’s growing international leadership in energy, engineering, innovation and the net-zero transition, while expanding the Roundtable’s reach across the UK.

Mr Bowie has represented West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine since 2017. During his parliamentary career, he has served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to former Prime Minister Theresa May, Minister for Exports, and the UK’s first Minister for Nuclear. His keynote address will offer delegates valuable insights into the future of energy security, industrial innovation and sustainable economic growth.
