We are pleased to announce that Ernie Lamza will represent the<\/span> North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA)<\/b><\/a>, the UK Government body responsible for regulating offshore oil and gas and supporting the transition in the North Sea, at the<\/span> IV International Roundtable on Technologies for Sustainability<\/b><\/a> on 21 October 2026 at<\/span> Maryculter House<\/b><\/a>, Aberdeen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ernie is NSTA\u2019s Technology and Engineering Manager. His work centres on the development and deployment of new and emerging technologies, and he engages regularly with operators, academic and research organisations, and the UK supply chain. His role is to translate industry needs into future technology requirements and to promote existing technologies that can accelerate wider deployment, in support of energy security, net zero and maximising economic recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n

His contribution reflects a question central to the Roundtable: how technology moves from innovation to deployment. Ernie brings a view from the regulator\u2019s side of that process, where the decisions on what is needed, what is ready and what can scale have direct consequences for investment and industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ernie is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the<\/span> Institution of Chemical Engineers<\/b><\/a>. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Technology Management, and a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction from the<\/span> Institute of Directors<\/b><\/a>. He sits on the Technology Leadership Board and is a non-executive member of Peterhead Port Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Roundtable<\/b><\/a> is organised by<\/span> MBY Consultants<\/b><\/a> and<\/span> The FuturED Institute<\/b><\/a>, in partnership with the<\/span> International Green Trade & Commerce Association \u2013 The Green Chamber<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
